Its a curious thing but latest theories on the origins of our home planet Earth estimate that it was created from a molecular cloud between 4.5 and 5 billion years ago and that it will be consumed again by our dying Sun in about another 5 billion years .. So we are about half way there ! As in all mid-term situations lets see how we are all doing ! This blog attempts to record the highs and lows so far

how important are we in the scheme of things?
well lets see ... if we divide 3,000,000 by 5,000,000,000 and then multiply by 100 we get 0.06% .. thats the percentage of time since Earth was formed that we have been around !
